We used to hype up him up as the next Nik Lidstrom when he was with us. Too bad he never amounted to much.

He deserves alot more credit, throws the body, blocks shots, clears the crease...

Don't need him to be Nik Lidstrom, just has to be a #6 d-man...

You guys couldn't beat us like 6-0 or anything to that nature?

I'm so sick of rooting for a loser franchise with the shittiest owner in professional sports. Him and Wilpon....What have I done to deserve these 2 assholes?

Hank was awesome in the 2nd period, gave the Isles 2 many PP's last night, but as Torts said after the game, this was a game we usually lose here...

What a great, easy to root for team this is right now.

If Staal can get his head back on straight, this team has five excellent defensemen all 27 years old.

Gotta do better than 13% on power play, but brilliant D and Henrik Lundqvist (when is the last time we've had a backup as solid as Biron, too?) keeps us in every game. 87.7% on the kill.

The team doesn't even think it's hit its stride yet. Yeeehaw! If Gaborik keeps up his pace of 46 goals, we'll be a top 4 seed. Gonna be tough to unseat Pittsburgh for that division crown though. Humpty Dumpty Crosby is back.

    *sips tasty tasty koolaid*

It was like that last year as well. They seem to work hard every shift. It really is refreshing having a NY team that isn't a bunch of primadonna's.

    3 stars

    1. Hank- saved the bacon in 2nd period
    2. Richards- wow what a beautiful slapshot, looked like Rod Gilbert
    3. Captain Calli- Goal and assist, gives 110% on every shift, relentless forechecker, penalty killer, body checker, shot blocker, Mess would be proud of this Captain
