Very Very Bad: Eminger, I'm assuming Staal is done, you mean to tell me Hammer isn't a better option than him, 5 minutes played, 3 huge giveaways, get the fuck out

All that talent, to go with a 2 cent head, Oates should have benched him after that

Eminger was really selfish on that play looking to finish a check on like that. Terrible. But even still, I think he's a better option than Hamrlik. I just don't think he's got the legs to do it anymore. Especially not throwing him in the mix mid-series like that.

agreed. I dont think Hamrlik has anything left. He was a statue when he played earlier this year. Caps are too fast to have him back there.

It certainly wasn't Michael Del Zotto's fault. You know, Bobby Orr could have learned a lot from him.

Has anyone on this team improved more over the course of this season than Carl Hagelin?

He really turned it up, especially since the playoffs have started. He, Stepan, and Brassard have carried the team as far as forwards go.

be honest, when you were sitting with your pals last night, how long did it take you to realize Eminger got benched for the goal you called MDZ's fault? Be honest, IM dying to know

How about Clowe and Cally? Clowe fired up the Rangers early with that opening spat and Cally was under the Caps' skin ALL NIGHT!

He has plenty of heart. He literally carried the team out of a huge hole and into the playoffs. I can't explain the lack of effort in New York for Game 3 or 4, but I feel it is a Russian thing. Sometimes they just don't care at random times, it seems.

Clowe's 1st shift he buries Olesky then got right in his face, he was physical all night, Cally goaded that retard Erskine into a very stupid penalty and was flying all night

Yeah, Cally had a much better game last night, as did a lot of the forwards not named Nash (where is he?). Richards played a little better, that's relative

that's 2 good games from Stralman in a row imho. good games for Girardi, Moore and Mac....del Zotto still scares me but that 1st goal wasn't his fault.....but he should have stayed on his feet a little more there....Eminger blew

Hanks continues to baffle me.........with acrobatic impossible saves, and as always one soft goal in there (that 3rd goal last night was weak).if I were the Caps I'd be taking wristers from the blue line all game hoping they hit off of someone....Hank stops the quality chances...let's in the suspect one's..he did close out the game though last night.

Have no idea what to expect Game 5.

What I 'm talking about is he should be the best player in the league with his size and talent, he should take note of the Rangers Captain...
