Caps have a good powerplay going for them, which they didnt have last year. We stop the PP and I think things can go the Rangers way this series. If not, it will be a upsetting ending.
Don't feel great about this series, but that's no surprise, this team hasn't impressed me all year. they are however, capable of another gear here I think, and closed on a good run even though still not playing at top level. The Caps are playing as good as they can imho, so maybe due for a downturn...........that and hoping Holtby can't match his performance from last year......which really by the way, is the main reason that series went 7. More likely Hank matches his level form last year.... ok, making myself feel better now! will enjoy tonight no pressure, Pens Isles and hope they beat the shit out of each other...
Have a feeling Staal is closer than people think, I'm thinking Clowe and Dorsett will play somewhere in this series
Not to make you feel worse again, but I've watched a reasonable amount of the Caps this season and Holtby has been fucking brilliant. Easily as good as last year and one of the main reasons for them being in the playoffs.
Rangers goalie is not half bad. Ove turned beast mode on in the last month of the season, that worries me more then Holtby.
So much for the Islanders having a chance vs Pittsburgh Knicks playing like they want to lose a 7 game series after being up 3-0. The Rangers are going to rescue this town, EA sports can't be wrong, right??
