We'll be lucky to get a point out of this one from what I watched of the Isles last night and how the Rangers are playing.

Those tickets were dirt cheap a month ago.

I am not drinking the Islander Koolaid, they beat a tired boston team, big fucking deal.

They have the same record as the Rangers. With that said, every game the Rangers play makes me want to vomit.

They're playing with confidence my beloved Rangers haven't played with all season....they could have won that game 5 or 6 to 1 last night if it weren't for Rask..what are they like, 8 wins in the last 10?

Tickets for the game tonight are crazy expensive on stubhub,,,going to stay home and watch it instead. Islanders are young but playing very well and have not given up many goals over the last 10 or so games,,,,,should be like old times tonight,,,ps I am not sure if there will be more fights in the crowd or on the ice so home is a good place to watch with the kids .

Honestly, I hope we get 8th and draw battered and beaten Shittsburgh with their pussy defense. Montreal would be a house of horrors if we finish in 7th...

That's all well and good but if you didn't notice Brassard just won us the game with his playmaking ability and John Moore has been playing very very well. Guy fit right into the system.

We're 6-3-1 in the last ten against the likes of Pittsburgh (twice), Toronto (twice), the Islanders, Winnipeg, Carolina, Montreal Philadelphia and Ottawa. All of the aforementioned except Philly are either playoff teams or in contention.

Gaborik was a great player for us but his time in NYC had drawn to a close and we got some very good pieces for him.

Im not losing any sleep over Gaborik no matter how many points he puts up. He has zero ability to make anyone he plays with better..but himself. Good for him...but he is the perfect example of a player that plays the 82 well (not even does that consistently) and gets lost in the playoffs because he is easy to silence in playoff hockey.

With where the roster was a month ago, this is as good as it could get this year with chemistry. Is this one of those teams that explodes come playoff time? Not sure.

Well put Jay, good luck to Gabby and good riddance...good 2 pts last night, Isles are playing well now, Hank played great, Brassards winning pass shows the skill he has, and Danny G finally hit the net! :)

Where's Nash been? I haven't seen him pull off one of his signature "holy shit" moves in a while now.
