Glad Leafs at least got a point. That OT was pretty entertaining stuff.

Good luck the rest of the way, guys!

Big time game and Rangers stepped up even though at time it looked rough.

Time to get the big win over fish sticks

Man the Senators are really tanking and just checked their remaining schedule and its rough. 6th spot is open for business but that might lead to the Caps who have really turned it on....while injuries and the Bruins seem to be a perhaps a softer spot.

Either way, would like to avoid the 8th...but the way things are going would take anything right now.

Got the win but just seems the defense has too many breakdowns. Stralman scares the crap out of me. Would love to see Staal get 3 or 4 games under his belt before the playoffs but even though they say he is skating etc...thats looking more unlikely.

Oh...and Jonnny....Man Hagelin looked great tonite no? Really thought he would miss that open net.

    I know Jon..I know...he is a very frustrating player.

Hagelin was flying out there though...He played with intensity, same did alot of our other guys.

Unlike most people, I see Richards is trying but he is literally snake bitten out there. Just not his moment right now

I am convinced that Richards has off-ice issues. He is either on drugs, the sauce, or hes taken in a gay lover in the village

Something unsatisfying about getting that win in a shootout last night. It did the job to distance the Devils and keep pace with the Isles and Sens but even so. Another bad game from Girardi, who is obviously a cornerstone on D. He's gotta be fatigued on top of being his usual beat up self. I'd hate to label anyone a savior, but I really believe if Staal's vision recovers and he can get legs under him, it'll be a huge lift on the back end.

Randomly, it was comical to me in OT when the Ranger had it in their defensive zone with no pressure and Nash basically circled around to get a head of steam to carry it all the way in. It didn't really yield a great scoring chance but it was like winding the crank to toy car and letting it go. His talent is unreal.

Hags is a game changer with his speed, he took over the game in the 2nd and 3rd periods

McD had a great game but he screwed up the last goal, making it look like Girardi's fault, but I agree we need Staal back, to much ice time for top 4, I would give Moore more ice time, man can he skate...

Well, it really don't mater if the Caps win the division. Then they take the 3 spot.

It's a 3 way tie for 6th right now, I hope the Bruins beat the piss out of the Islanders tonight.

He played great last night. Would love to see him score a goal in a game, not a shootout. I think he might be just as fast as Haggs.

Speed kills, he has been a real difference maker...by the way Hank's save on kadri at the end of regulation was insane, one of his best ever...

I knew we won the shootout as soon as I saw Grabovski on the ice. He looked petrified trying to go 1 vs 1 vs Henrik.

I was referencing how he fumbled the puck on the blue line that led to the rush. But I agree, idk why McDonough didn't sell out and slide in the passing lane. Wouldn't have made to Kessel if he did.

I agree with you he was terrible on that play in the leafs zone, too much icetime and pressure not to make a mistake, we need Staal back...
