As soon as I turned on the game, Montreal scored their second goal.

Looks like the Rangers are playing like total shit again.

Looks like we've lost half our team to injuries within the last week.

If this isn't enough of a nightmare, now Girardi's out.

Did I hear correctly that Ryan McDonagh was hurt earlier in the game too?

I have no idea how any of you could possibly be complaining. All this team needs to do is "grind it out". if they just "grind it out", everything will be fine.

Yes, Ryan McDonagh got his head put into the glass behind the Ranger goal-kind of a chippy hit. No word of how bad, either he or Girardi who took a PK Subban blast off his right ankle during a 5-on-3 Canadian PP late in the 3rd.

Rangers started out well but they just can't buy a goal. Too many faceoffs lost, it looks like Mark Sanchez is running the power play and right now, the Rangers could use some Brandon Prust type grit.

If Brad Richards wasn't Tortorella's anal life partner from back in Tampa he woud have been benched many games ago

First place in the division, president's trophy, all a complete pipe dream. Right now it's gotta be "just get in" mode. 8th or better in the East and see what happens. Kings won the cup from 8th place last year. Rangers are good enough, they just need to get their shit together by the playoffs

We are seeing a nightmare occuring here...

3 of our top 5 dmen are out...

Girardi looks like a broken ankle and probably out for 5 weeks, MDZ is out, McD has a concussion, Nash is on IR.

    We are fucked.

Right now just make the playoffs in time and hope guys are ok...Please someone fire Mike Sullivan

They just need to "grind it out", that's all. This team needs no changes, no new players, it's absolutely perfect they way it is.

    Grind it out!

2011/12, Rangers led the league in fights. 2012/13, they're currently 20th. Likewise the number of minor penalties has dropped significantly. I'm not suggesting that having more fights will win you the league, but it does suggest that the team is doing something differently and that they're getting pushed around a lot more.

If you've got a strong PP then you can afford to stay out of the physical battles a little bit more because teams will be more wary about opening up on you, but with the 29th ranked PP it suggests that teams are willing to get physical on the Rangers, to get in their faces and knock them off their game safe in the knowledge that the Rangers can't or won't come back at them. I realise that Tortorella's "grind it out" mantra is a little meaningless, but the stats and the little I've seen of your team this year would suggest that you're losing games in the trenches.

Listen to me ALL of you! Coach Tortorella says this team just needs to "grind it out". There is nothing wrong with the power play. There is nothign wrong with this team's scoring. There are no depth issues. There is no weakness in this team's toughness. All they need to do is "grind it out". Please stop talking like you actually know anything about the sport of hockey, and wait patiently for this team to "grind it out".

We have an infallable head coach who does not need to change a thing. The players just need to "grind it out".

Well, I'm definitely okay with the team losing a bunch of games if it means grinding it out for one win eventually.
