No panic yet Tommy, Torts says Pyatt has been his best all around forward so far...

Agree, but that's a pretty big list. I'd be less concerned if it were just one thing they were falling short on. Last night was one of the most blah Ranger-Flyer games I've seen in a long time.

No rough stuff, I think Laviolette faked out Torts into wasting his bottom 2 lines...all plays off the same thing force the play with a tenacious forecheck, like the Devils...

Laviolette looks like the illegitimate child of Mike Francessa and Jay Leno

Putting too much pressure on Kreids, one mistake or penalty and he sits...

Were the Flyers seeing the result of "no camp" too? The Penguins? The Bruins?

I am not calling for his head. I said he should be held accountable. There is a huge gap between firing someone and holding them accountable for neglecting part of his responsibilities.

Now you are just being silly. I was making an observation about the guy, not blaming him for any of the Rangers' woes.

Does that include the head coach?

That is not their roles. Please see what you said above about Emminger.

This is the same crap we saw last season and the season before. No offensive pressure whatsoever. Our defense is top notch, but when on offense, the puck always seems to be against the boards until the defense steals it away and clears the zone. We never are able to set any plays up. There's never anyone next to the goal trying to jam it in. Even when we do have the puck in the offensive zone, they just pass it around, waiting for that perfect shot instead of shooting it and making the opposing goalies work. JUST SHOOT THE DAMN PUCK.

They should bring in a PP coach. Sullivan is a defensive coach, he shouldn't be involved with the PP. And he sure as hell shouldn't be fired.

Stepan is allegedly a playmaker but for the ice time he gets and the opportunities he gets, he needs to produce much more. Hagelin sat as a first or 2nd line winger his entire time up hear last year. You dont think he's supposed to score goals? What do you think Hagelin's role on this team is?

Regarding Eminger...you brought him up. How was I supposed to know you were just bringin his name up for no reason?

And yes the Flyers played their first three games ina fog. The Bruins and Pens started quickly. Great obvservation. But it has NOTHING to do with whether or not the Rangers look sluggish because of the no training camp. Your point is stupid

Give the Rangers a couple weeks. They'll be back. They haven't had much experience playing together because of the lockout.

Not sure you can wait a couple of weeks in a 48 game season

Arnott and NYR agree to contract. 1 year. Cap hit around $1.6 -$1.7. Contract being finalized now. Arnott en route to NYC.

    Katie Strang ‏@KatieStrangESPN
#NYR Can confirm that Jason Arnott and Rangers have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, as first reported by @DarrenDreger

He did put up 17 goals and 34 points (14 on the PP) on 14 minutes of ice time over 72 games last season. Tertiary penalty killer.

    I love the move personally

#NYR rookie Chris Kreider day to day with a bone chip in his ankle. Had an MRI yesterday. Will be off ice at least for a couple of days.

So what becomes of Slowpan if Arnott plays well and takes his ice time?
