I would not mind a Rangers party bus leaving from MSG, blasting Rangers music all the way to the rock. I picture the scene from Euro Trip with Vinny Jones wanting to fight anyone NOT in a Manchester United Jersey lol

I guess being that Delta is a main sponsor, this is probably a great PR thing for them. But the most obvious choice for sensibility sake for promoting some kind of exclusive travel isn't plane or bus...clearly a designated party train there would be the way to go. Literally almost door-to-door from one arena to the other.

I respectfully disagree with some of this..especially the ranger defense all looking exactly the same.

If you want to go in that direction...the same could be said for many of the forwards. I really believe its more the system then the clones. You cant tell me watching DZ or Staal that these two guys along with MAC do not have the ability to go coast to coast with the puck. They do. The same could be said for the forwards...with the classic Ranger cycle. I cant tell you how many times a Ranger defenseman will have the puck at the point with a man in front of the net and he just dumps in to start the "cycle".

The problem with the CYCLE is that it takes at least two players...and usually a third joins in the fun. When the third joins in the fun...there is NEVER anyone in front of the net because there is nobody left. So many times you see a forward finally get free from the CYCLE and turn to go to the front of the net and there is nobody there...so they go with the ole wrap around.

I get the importance of winning the boards...totally...but the lack of creativity has hit an all time high with this team at times. Think about the goals that have been scored recently and none come from the CYCLE.

The day will come when Tort lets the Rangers offense loosen up a bit...but that doesn't look like its coming this year.

As far as Gabby and the benching...I think too much is being made of whether you want your 40+ goal scorer laying out blocking shots. Thats not what has annoyed me about him in this series..and that play. Its the total lack of what makes him...flying around the ice like Hags is. He is just as fast and a scorer. He is just not making himself even look like a threat at all. Gab had an easy chance to clear that puck and failed...which led to him waving at that shot. He just has flat out sucked.

He had a rough season. Whether it was a lack of talent or that he was playing injured for most of the year is somewhat unknown. God knows we could use him now though.

Torts should walk up to the Podium, say "Henrik Lundqvist," and walk out.
