    1) Tortorella is a fucking idiot
    2) Mitchell is the only guy that's winning faceoffs

Seriously...you sound like a hypocrite. Do you watch your own team? in Miami bitch and make faces on every call the refs make? Seriously....anyone rooting for that team shouldnt talk about refs or calls. Wade is a constant bitch fest to the refs and James missed his real calling as a lawyer with all the meetings he has with refs.

Then use him like the Senators used Kanopka, win the faceoff and GTFO. He's a waste of space, especially on the PP

let's not get carried away here

game 7 could very well end with a multigoal margin

rangers will probably be like -155 to win

    nitpicking

Exactly, why the hell is a 4th line player(if that) on the Powerplay?

We need energy and just need to keep attacking.

Do I think it will help them to have the time off?

Yes...But game 7 will need one stellar performance from everyone.

I am really asking for a switch here with Bickel and adding Eminger to this team...BICKEL WILL SEE NO ICE TIME IN GAME 7.

Eminger at least can shoot and be on the top of the powerplay...Torts please stop punishing Kreider out there, its painful to watch him on the garbage lines

It perplexes me how we can be both so good and so bad at the same time? How the hell was this team the first seed? Its astounding. Having a King in the goal obviously helps, but what the hell??

I really believe the reason for the number 1 seed is the Rangers have been playing playoff hockey since the first game of the season. Blocking shots...grinding...hitting and of course goaltending.

Now that the playoffs come, it starts to catch up with you if you dont have the firepower to back it up because everyone is blocking shots...hitting..grinding. Teams that are left for the most part are the teams that CAN play that way. Bye bye Pitt...bye bye Phili...and bye bye so many higher seeded teams.

While the Rangers do it just as good if not better than then anyone...they just dont have the firepower..the one or two other guys that can bury the puck from the slot. The only thing that can improve is if and when our defense joins the play and that has happened only in panic situations.

Could be wrong...but thats where the excitement with Kreider first came to play but that has leveled off. He could have been a difference maker but its too early for him I guess.

Dissecting this in a slightly less reactive manner now here's my thoughts:

    - Did the Rangers play well? No, they did not, but they didn't play terribly either. We still put 33 shots on goal despite the Caps blocking 29. We got no bounces our way and Holtby earned each and every save. If the Caps didn't get the momentum boost from that second goal it would have been a completely different game.

-We lost 2-1 to a team facing elimination on their home ice. It's tough to match the intensity of a team with its back against the wall, especially one with a hot goalie. The lack of shot blocking is a problem, but most people, myself included, expected the Caps to take this one.

-Hank made some superb saves. Gotta love the guy

-We now play game 7 in MSG, Do or Die. Nobody is better at digging deep than the Rangers when desperation sets in. I like our chances in a gritty match-up at home.

youre right on everything except Kreider. He isnt getting any quality ice time. Hagelin is taking all the ice time away from Kreider. Hagelin is absolutely killing us. And here I am thinking youre just some gay wetherman :)

I am still so god dam angry from last night, and at this point .. 9:19am on Thursday as I look at my Rangers official calendar and see Brian Boyle .. I am not too confident going into Saturday's game.

Here is what I see regardless of how shity they play, Hank will keep them in games. This is the most important fact, I don’t care how good Holtby is, Hank is the better goalie. With that said, If the Rangers have a prayer going into Saturday s game, this is what they need to do.

GET BACK TO WHAT WORKED IN THE 1st TWO WINS! For god sake, play Krider, Rangers need more bad angle shots, can’t do that without gaining the zone, you need speed for that, Krider has it. Rangers need to be aware of the Caps drawing the defense to the center then burning them wide. Caps tried it all night, and look what happened Strallmen got called on that penalty .. 1st goal of the game. Rangers need to formulate a game plan for Ove, guess what every game he scores, caps win. Rangers need a new game plain as far as trying to work the puck from behind the net .. not working, need to focus on just getting more shots off from the point, and getting the big bodies to the net, that’s how the Rangers goal was scored.

With all that said, Caps have to be feeling good going into game 7, and they have every right to be.

    Oh..and a chance of snow...lol.

Well yeah John..thats correct. But he is creating. Hagelin is getting to the puck and creating...but i hear you. His goal scoring chances have all but gone away...none..nothing...nada. He, i thought too, would at least pressure the goaltender and thats not happening anymore either.

my ass was barely in my seat last night and they were down 1-0. Keep talking about coming out hard and not doing it, at least on the road.

I'm not confident about Sat, but then again I never am with this team.

Looks like they need the 2 days rest here, they were lethargic, lazy, and all around sloppy last night......so I guess losing 2-1 ont he road against a desperate team could be a positive in that case.

I wanted to kill Boyle myself last night..time to get him off the ice.

Everyone was in a haze last night......no one is ready for the puck in the offensive zone...even Cally, in the first a puck slid right over to him near the goal and somehow he had his back to the puck and didn't see it.....the D was skating in quicksand. infuriating

Christ everybody shut up with the belly aching:

1.) Second line should be Kreider-Steps- Cally
2.) Defend your home ice and we win
3.) The Garden will absolutely be rockin' saturday
4.) I would be amazed if we don't win!

I don't think anyone's left much else to say. Kreider was noticably absent from ice time much of the game which got on my nerves as much as you guys. My friend's girlfriend of all people actually noticed the lack of shot blocking. She follows pretty closely and even she said, "It's like they're afraid to get hurt all of a sudden. They stopped laying out last night." I can't disagree with her. The Rangers didn't look like their usually sell-out selves.

I'm kind of in a tug of war about how I feel about Saturday. It's a tough situation for the Rangers to be in. Yes, they were able to win Game 7 at home last round but that was also riding a ton of momentum from an on-the-brink win in Game 6.

Anyone else have a lot of non-Ranger fans telling you to wait and see what happens, as if there's nothing to worry about? I have a ton of people basically telling me they don't expect the Rangers to lose at home Saturday at all. Call me crazy, but I don't share the same kind of confidence.
