Stats don't mean shit, the game is played on the ice, by the way you can win scoring 2.06 gag when you only give up 1.60!

I agree with Talis...this is NOT a sustainable model folks. If the series started today, Id pick Devils in 6

Still pretty incredible this morning. I'm a little in shock even watching the replays. Guess I picked the wrong defenseman when I made my prediction lol. With the way the Caps responded after the gut wrenching triple OT loss though, I'm unfortunately counting on another game seven like a lot of you guys.

we have to take advantage though.

when's the next time you're going to see Boston, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Detroit, Vancouver out in the first round?

Nothing like debbie downers claiming we are not going anywhere after one of the most exciting wins in franchise history.

    What a win!!!

I woke up the newborn and mom when Richards scored. I haven't screamed that loud at the tv in a long time.

    Kudos to:

    Richie- The Money Man
Mitch- won the faceoff in OT and passed to Staal for winner, 4-4 on faceoffs
Staal- great shot and I believe he was the best player on the ice
Captain Courageous for showing the way, keeping the puck alive on game tying goal
Stu Bickel- for knocking hendricks, the Craps tough guy on his ass about 10 times
Danny G. and McD- styfling D
MDZ- for getting puck to the net on game tier
    Boyle- all over the ice

Unbelievable win, that's really all i can say, so oposite of what I expected to happen as the game wore on last night.

and really, now people are questioning whether is sustainable to play the way they do? it's sustainable, for 9 more wins this season. This is the way it's been all season with this team.

This series is far from over, I expect a Game 7..but the Caps may have taken too many body blows here.
