Agree with everything except the Hagelin comment: he was all over the ice during Game 6 against the Sens and drove them crazy.
Rangers looked great out there, they really just fucked up twice that cost them the goals. -Bickel's careless slow pass getting intercepted for a goal -Henrik playing the puck off the glass and Chimera gets the puck to a open net Cant take anything away from the Ovechkin shot though. I said it before with Ottawa we have to overcome the slapshots and Anderson & with the Capitals it will be the blocked shots and Ovechkin on the PP
Be surprised if Emminger doesn't play next game, Hank has to stop playing the puck he's dreadful at it, by the way we knew the caps wouldn't roll over and play dead..I actually think we play better on the road...
The ice is awful, but they're only going to get a new rink for the 2013-14 season. They're apparently jackhammering the concrete floor and making a new one and installing a new ice plant, but we have to go through another full season with the current ice. I think while they're at it they need to fix the lighting on the ice. It's absolutely terrible, there's shadows everywhere and the rink is really dark. They should be able to fix that immediately
yup. I was talking about hat with my buddy last night. But lets be fair, Bickel has been very solid. Horrible idea yesterday but hes been solid
oh yeah also thought about some of the "who outplayed whom" shiite was backed up again last night.......because the Rangers really skated circles around the Caps last night had most of the territotial advantage although not more shots......that all is meaningless when goaltending isn't superb & mistakes are made with the puck. Who makes mistakes/who capitalizes on mistakes....thats' what playoff hockey is all about......proved once again in both games of this series.
I thought the assist on the Richie goal would wake him up, but he seems like he's not trying hard enough...Torts should sit him for a period, to wake his ass up...
He looked bad on the Bickel giveaway goal, but his slapshot was awesome last night, all Holtby heard was the sound as it went past him...
Gaborik to too easily frustrated...he only excelled in that one 4 on 4 where he gets more space. He still thinks he can try and beat everyone going outside, where the d basically just lets him go out there.
I hope Hunter doesnt wake up and play Ovie more. I can see him catching fire these next two games and putting us on the brink
just sayin nigro...........I dont remember in my life anything as bizarre as this. Keeping the most talented playe on the ice, off the ice.
