Shattenkirk has played VERY well since joining the rangers. What an upgrade from Girardi this guy is!

When was the last time a free agent worked out this well for the Rangers?

 

Yeah he is delivering for what he was signed for - power play quarterback. His defense is still costing high danger shots but we needed him desperately for man advantage situations so on balance the signing is a big winner

Back to back over Kings and Bruins....Zucc!

 

Odd game. Bruins had too many men on the ice during a PP and then again in OT, Rangers have the puck in the offensive zone for 12 minutes and commit a penalty instead of drawing one. Never seen things like that before.

 

Bruins had 7 skaters plus Rask on the ice at one time, in OT they had 5 plus Rask, by the way fun watching Chara become a traffic cone, hate him....when we had the puck in the zone for 2 minutes it was 2-0, I said to myself they won't score and Bruins will, 3-0 would have sealed the deal

 

I don't think Chara's as bad as people say

 

Slower than Staal, it took along time but he's getting his now
