If you like Sicilian Pizza, hands down the best in the world: L&B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn:

In high school, we used to take the train to valley stream to go to slipped disc records , there was also a pizza place across the street that was awesome(rockaway Ave). . Can’t remember the name

There was no such thing as Tinder in the days of the gay alliance.

 

My grandparents lived in Bensonhurst so we had all types of great mom and pop pizza places in the area but this place was the best.. I can remember going there as a kid all the time with my grandfather. I'm sure it's changed and it's been a long time since I've been but you never forget Spumoni Gardens

 

The last time I went there was a couple of years ago on a warm spring Sunday afternoon. It was crowded like the food was something special. It was okay.

 

Their Italian food is "OK", above average for a pizzeria. Their Sicilian pizza is unmatched.
