Yes, some prefer to live in cow pastures and marry their cousins. I've seen the women in Indy.... and that is the only viable explaination I have for their heffer type looks. You married to one?
Yeah, but I think many on the team had picked up that talent from Manning. Fortunately for the Jets many are out right now but you never know. All I'm saying is don't underestimate them. Maybe the Jets will overwhelm a depleted Indianapolis team but if you let Manning keep them in the game, you'll all be sick if the game comes down to a 45 yard field goal by Vinitieri.
I am not certain about that...The Colts have Wayne, Clark, Mathis, Freeney, Adai, Brackett, Saturday, Bethea and that's not including up and coming talent... I used Clark from the IR too... As for the Jets you have, Revis, Cromartie and?
Harris, Scott, Jenkins, Greene, Tomlinson, Cotchery, Edwards, Holmes, Keller, Mangold, Ferguson, Moore.....etc
Let's be serious... I can give you one non-pro bowler because I mentioned one, but that's all...You mention so many players and they aren't even pro bowlers... Mangold, Ferguson, Revis and who else are pro-bowlers? Colts have, Manning, Wayne, Mathis and Freeney...
It's a shame the seeding rules are what they are. The Jet's should be HOSTING their game this week as a 4th seed and playing KC as a 5th. The Seahawk's getting in at 7-9, which 43.8% winning percentage, while two teams in the NFC staying home have 10-6 records, a 62.5% winning percentage, is a travesty Regardless of seeding, it's going to be a great weekend of football. Good job winning the last 2 out of 3. Can't believe you lose to Miami then beat the Steelers the very next week, but decent finish anyway.
So is Manning going to get Blair White killed by soft-lobbing passes to him across the middle or is time for Fetus to set Reggie Wayne's skull to go bouncing off of the turf. Indianapolis delenda est.
Oh and this too. Logan Mankins made the pro-bowl and only played in 8 games. overrated popularity contest.
Jets fans, for shame! Are you really arguing against the beauty that spawns from Indianapolis? Indianapolis delenda est.
What a game this is going to be on Saturday Night..I know Peyton has had Rex's number on the Jets and DC on the Ravens, but Manning comes into this game missing alot of weapons..This will be alot more competetive than last year...What is the betting line on this game?
Even Vegas thinks this game is a toss up..The home team always gets a 3pt spot..This could be one of those games that some second stringer off the bench for Indy has a breakout game should the Colts win..I just don't see Garcon and Wayne having alot of success against the Jets secondary..Question is. Do the Jets have enough in the defensive tank to shut down Addai/Rhodes and still maintain clogging up the Colts passing game at the same time?
Well luckily you can't run and pass at the same time. The Jets have not stopped the runs off the edge in the past two games. I can see it getting fixed for next week. They're good at stopping the run. They aren't good at stopping 3rd and long. Has a lot to do with the pass rush.
I'm surprised the Jets aren't favored or at least even. Given what the Colts have done in shutting down the run the last three games, the game within the game will be the Colts pass rush. If they can generate enough consistent pressure, it will help mask the 3rd and 4th string players in the Colts defensive backfield. If not, then Sanchez should have success.
