If the jets would had won the bills game. A lot more people would have had voted for pennington. So biased on one game. I am not saying Pennington should be MVP but to say "NO WAY" to pennington of the other fool that said everybody who voted for pennington should be ashamed thats ridiculous. Pennington is the reason we even got a chance to make the playoffs.

Poking fun at a typo and then saying Pennington is the reason we got this far is ridiculous.
The Defense, Offensive Line, Good Receivers, etc. got us this far. Chad has kept us from getting further.
Your stuck in the good old days prior to his problem starting. And, I'll even say that at times he looks like he can do something on the field. But, when it's counted and we really needed him he lost us games!

If he loses the next one for us are you going to vote him for league MVP?
(Which I don't think will happen. He looked more centered in the last interview.)

I would like a write-in vote for Justin Miller. Who, except for Devin Hester, has been the most lethal kick returner in the NFL this year.

I am truly baffled that anyone would have love for Pennington at this point- nothing in the way of consistent play. But I guess that some of you really do love those touchy, movie-of-the-week type moments....

    BLECH!

Mangold baby. He's the cog on that line right now, and playing on a pro-bowl level as a rookie, neck in neck with Rhodes of course...

It's most valuable player - not best player. I voted for Mangold.

It's still Chad, w/o him we have about 3 wins. Coles has been our best offensive player but Chad has been our Most valuable.

I chose Rhodes because I like the guy, but in truth it has to be Pennington. Like it or not we live and die by this guy, so he's the most important piece of the 06' NYJ puzzle.

    Justin Miller!
He is getting NO love at all.

We needed a Big play vs Indy. DONE.
We needed a Big play to wake us up vs the Browns. Done
Everytime we need good field Position for a Drive... He Gets it.
Last week we needed a big turnover. FF And FR

The Guy is making plays when we need then and he isn't even on the field 100% of the time!!!!

Everyone is talking about Devin Hester but Teams fear Miller time so much they'd rather Kick the ball to the 35 yd line!
Miller is a game changer and opposing teams know this!

So I vote for Kerry Rhodes ..

How does Chad have 18 votes? He singlehandely lost the Bears game, the Bills game, was dreadful in the Jacksonville game, terrible in the Cleveland game. C'mon.

he single handedly lost the Bears game? Chad called 2 runs to set up 3rd and G from the 5? Chad called an OSK to open the 2nd half?

he was a major reason for the Bills game, he was bad as was the rest of his team in jax, in Cle he led us to the tying TD that we lost b/c of a horrendous call.

W/o Chad we have about 3 wins right now. Go and check the Jets record w/ and w/o Chad since 2002- let me know what you find. the biggest difference btw last year and this year is Chad's health. Even Chad w/ a torn rotator cuff nearly had us at 2-1 last year if Chrebet holds onto that ball against Jax.

When you talk value, Chad Pennington might have to be the MVP.

Without Rhodes, the defense is still okay, missing some big plays.

Without Pennington, the team is lost and could be 3-10 right now.

Our defensive MVP is Rhodes, but this team lives and dies on the arm of Chad Pennington. That is the definition of a most valuable player.

It might be the definition, but they don't award it by that.
It was tough between Rhodes and Mangold, but I went with Rhodes.

How the heck can an O-Lineman be a team MVP?

Your saying the Jets would be in worse shape if Mangold went down then Pennington? Yeah, he's had his bad games but just imagine us with Ramsey at QB *shudders*
