Yea, he could have at least been a draft bust next season.

    My bad, people.

Be careful about NEpatriotsdraft. They just pulled Blount off the Vikings and added Perriloux.

EDIT: ...and they moved Stafon Johnson to Titans.

    Yay for stupidity!

This kid has made some poor choices. He went to Texas the same year as Colt McCoy didn't he?

Charlie Tanner is a decent pick up - he started 32 games for Texas.

Unrelated note, why am I not shocked that the Raiders signed Ryan Perriloux

Why do these guys sign so quickly? You'd think they'd take at least a day to weigh their options. Scared teams might sign someone else, I guess.

They were bound to pick a bozo. They had a good draft for the most part. I guess Al Davis woke up from his coma.

Cromartie-Smith is still there. Fortunately, Black, Witten and Dixon aren't.

GMs are throwing everything at their top UDFAs. They're getting recruited harder than the normal FA period.

    Pulled this from NFLdraftscout/cbssports:
    Analysis
Pass blocking: Nice agility to move his feet in pass pro, although he will forget to move them after making initial contact. Has an adequate anchor but can be pushed back a few steps by elite tackles. Capable personal protector on rollouts and moves out to reach defensive ends when the left tackle blocks down. More of a positional blocker, will not dominate linemen. Will lean and reach after recoiling, losing his balance. Lacks recovery speed to prevent secondary rush, struggles to get back into the play after getting pushed back.

Run blocking: Puts hands inside his man's jersey quickly, can move the line with leverage and leg strength. Better fit in a zone scheme than as a drive blocker, though he has enough upper-body strength to move smaller tackles out of the hole. Gets low in short-yardage situations, keeps leg churning to move the pile backwards.

Pulling/trapping: Mobile behind the line and into gaps. Inconsistent hitting targets, but has the flexibility to adjust to inside defenders. Does not blow up defenders in space; in fact, he has trouble sustaining as he will often lose his balance or get knocked back.

Initial Quickness: Gets off the snap well, latches hands on numbers and gets leverage quickly on run plays. Needs to be more explosive in punch in pass protection.

Downfield: Very mobile lineman. Quick enough to block down, disengage and reach the linebacker. Has the agility to reach safeties and get the correct blocking angle. Cuts effectively at the second level, getting to the shins and rolling to keep contact. Must improve his hand usage to take out defenders instead of just getting in the way.

Intangibles: Three-time Big 12 All-Academic. Very vocal leader, teammates call him "the Governor." Has missed some games with injuries, but practices hard and puts in work in the weight room.
