I hear what you are saying. I think Mike Devito is going to be pretty good from what I have seen of him. He seems to just make a lot of plays and he has good size and strength. I'm with you on Mosely, I think he has some interesting potential because of his unique size and skill sets. I also think Kenyon Coleman is a pretty solid 3-4 DE and played fairly well last year. Shaun Ellis tends to be overrated on this message board a little bit. I think he is a very solid DE (Clearly our most talented one) who has shown the diversity to play DE in both the 4-3 and 3-4, however, I don't think he is anywhere near the playmaker some people on this board have made him out to be in the past. He's still our best DE though and can still make a lot of plays if surrounded by good talent. I just don't think he has lived up to being the 12th overall pick in the draft.
Yeah I guess so. To me, the only way that statement makes any sense is if Ferguson is a complete bust. And I don't see why anyone would think that at this point. This is a big year for him though. I expect he will have a coming out party and play really well. Everyone says he looks much bigger and stronger and Mangini has gone out of his way to praise him several times already since training camp started.
