The next three games are probably the easiest stretch we will have. Houston and Buffalo at home and at green bay. The packers game is our easiest road game remaining.
Lets just go one game at a time and take care of houston...

easier = playing a team that beat the jags (the same jags that beat us 41-0) twice

Good posts with a healthy respect for "any given Sunday."

Still, it IS statistically possible for us to finish at 11-5, as ridiculous as that seems today. To do this, Mangini has to find a way to get the team to really concentrate and focus on each individual opponent (not unlike what we've been doing right along), but even moreso.

Even more important, Mangini has to find a way for EVERY individual to do his own soul-searching and come up with ways to play better. I do like Mangini's insistance on having each player do a verbal "report" every Friday on his individual opponent... in other words, putting a name and face to who the guy has to face.... what his record is, what his strengths and weaknesses are, etc. Mangini needs to step this up even more, but have each player add to his report EXACTLY what he intends to do to improve himself and step up to his opponent this week.

Our easy schedule can mess us up... yes... but it can also be something we could take advantage of. It's ours for the taking... just depends how bad you want the playoffs. Damn... Mangini needs to bring me in as a motivational speaker.

The same team that just lost to buffalo and tennesse, both are teams we beat earlier this year.

    Whats your point?

It doesnt matter how you play against other teams. Dolphins beat bears, we beat the dolphins, bears be the jets...

Houston is still not a good team. We need to play good defense like we have the past two weeks, and we'll be fine.

Im sure Houston, Buffalo and Miami are saying the same thing about us. Somehow I don't think other teams are worried about Chad Pennington lighting them up.

Just one thing to remember, the Jets never make anything easy.
