What is valid ??? That he & Jets' are 1 injury away from having an effective NT again ? Jets' have to draft another NT in this draft if they want success for this season. Bottom line. Pouha cannot be banked on to hold the fort down as the back-up NT. There are other players in this draft...such as Atyah Rubin, Red Bryant, Frank Okam. Jets' have to come away from this draft with some added beef for there D-line. Personally...I like what I here about Rubin & he did the most reps {225lbs} at the combine.

Ummmm the point that he is not old at Twenty-fuckin-eight years of age, considering Ted Washington is 37 and can still play. Injuries? Yes, but he's played 32 games straight and is now taking on a role that is less strenuous than that of a upfield attacking DT. Injuries do happen to players and thats why depth is needed, correct. But we don't need a NT in waiting as if Jenkins is as injury prone as Chad is or Dyson was. So instead of drafting on need to fill holes in the offense and the pass rush, we will waste a pick this year on a back-up NT, when Pouha showed alot of potential as a backup? I remember reading and hearing that everyone was pleased with how he played at the position and is a fine candidate. The Jets'''''''' will be just fine with Jenkins and Pouha. If Okam is there at the 6 round pick, maybe, just maybe- but the Jets''''' won't spend a 4th on a backup NT, without plans of having him start in 2-3 years. NT can play for 16 years, thats why Vince Wilfork is going to be around for a long time.
