    Ivory lacks the ability to stay on the field which is why it was still a dumb move to waste a pick on him. Would rather we had drafted a RB.

    As was mentioned before, I don't know if we can afford to waste a roster spot. He never really was much of a receiver and with the lack of talent on the Jets it might be too much of a luxury.

    Also, if he's getting cut from the Raiders...who are even worse off than the Jets, must be saying something.

    Cribbs looked slow in preseason and the Raiders admitted as much that he certainly has lost a step.

    I assume the Jets would rather have Braylon because he is someone they at least know his limitations and weaknesses

    Also, what about Aaron Curry? Anyone think with a bit of Rex Ryan behind him he might blossom into something? Worth talking about.

    Although, I'll caveat myself for further discussion...Pete Carroll is no slouch in the defensive dept. either.

    Thoughts on this as a quality depth player in our LB'er corps?

    I could see Zibikowski or Phillips being brought in as an extra vet safety as the group is woefully young
