oh Marky Mark how naive you have gotten, your job is as good as gone and your career as a Jet will be over pretty soon

You said McElroy is a career benchwarmer. Not imo he will be. His career has been four games. YOu do not know what will happen in his career. Tom Brady was a sixth round choice. And look where he is now.

Again, all I have said is the Jets should see what they have in McElroy. This is not, again, a notion that is unique to me. You are a newbie here who comes in and all you are posting about is how the Jets should start Tebow. That makes you a Tebot in my book. Prove otherwise.

The notion that the Jets should not even bother seeing what McElroy can do is a pretty good fit for a Tebot. Quite simply I do not believe you were aware of McElroy's actual "career" when you dismissed him as a career backup. And when called on it, you could have said, I meant to say i think he will be nothing more than a career backup. You said it should have been clear that is what you meant all along.

    It wasn't.

Again, this is no mere semantic point. I and many others here feel that at some point the Jets need to take a better look at McElroy. And many others here agree that Tebow is not going to be any real answer for this team based on his lack of skills and shaky and inconsistent record.

And watch this - I shouldn't have called your post idiotic. I should have said it was part of a pro-Tebow agenda.

Now you can say that you should have said I think (without knowing this of course) that McElroy will never be anything more than a career backup, and because I think that the Jets should not even look at him as a potential answer, then we can move on.

i just saw Sanchez on the NFL network, he was in good spirits and was
giving off a confident vibe. He sounded completely unrattled, and that can only be a good thing. God Damnit do I want to pull off that upset monday night. Gonna be some chore to do.

I'm trying, I even went so far as to call monday night a trap game and predict a jets win in a thread i started. some rallied around the cry, but most
were laughing at me. i don't fuckin' care, i'm so sick of hearing all the downtrodden stuff, it gets old quick ya know? I had to explain myself like 4 times that i know the jets are not in a good spot, yeah no shit sherlock, but this is the NFL, and mock if you want, but the jets are at home. it's going to take a monumental mistake free game, some bounces, and some luck, but it can and has been done many times, it's amazing how people forget so quickly how this game works sometimes.

Let him push Tebow. They'll throw him in there and then he'll stink even worse than Sanchez and we can finally end this sideshow nonsense and get a real QB this offseason. Might as well have something good come of this year.

Kyle Orton last year before he got benched looked, talked and played defeated. Good to see this, though I always thought Orton never had the mental psyche to be a starter.

I was watching a video interview with Plaxico saying he has Rex's home phone # and that they are tight. Why, if we are keeping Sanchez as the starter, are we not getting Plax in here to be a red zone target for Sanchez? If, heaven forbid, Sad Sack is going to be the starter why not get Plax and Braylon in here to help him get some passing rhythm?

If I were HC, Tebow would be the starter and I would trade Sanchez to KC. Tebow fits the Ground and Pound ideology better than Sanchez.

The Denver run was such divine intervention I was starting to be convinced Tebow had the almighty on his side. They won a division at 8-8. They had guys running out of bounds trying to kill the clock, kickers hitting 60-yard FG's. And they also had a much better RB (McGahee) and defense than we do now. There'll be no divine intervention this year unless Tebow really does have the almighty's ear.

i was on the phone with my brother who's back home in new york, and there was Sanchez on the tube, i hung up on him, and you'd have thought the Jets had beaten the 49ers, he was as upbeat as one could possibly be.

LOL. More anonymous sources. We all know how that goes. If they don't at least give Sanchez half the season, and instead choose to bench him while we are still tied for first and 2-0 in the division, then I will officially turn in my green tinted glasses, and join the FO sucks crew. I will be shocked out of my mind and really pissed off if they bench Sanchez right before the Texans. I seriously doubt that's true.

If its true, pushing the panic button way too early. Got dominated by a top 5 team in the league and had two fluke fumbles to go with it. (Not Sanchez's fumble, Epps and Holmes). We are still 2-2 and have a 2-0 record in the division. Every other team in the division is 2-2 or worse.

If the Jets lose the next 4 in blowout fashion or 3/4 in blowout fashion, make the change and rule out our two QBs as being franchise QBs.

If the Jets go 2/4 or better, keep Mark and add some better stuff in the bye week. (And before anyone says what happens if Marks plays horrible in those 2 games and we win... I don't remember a time where Mark has played terrible and the team still won. SF, NE 45-3, GB, ATL, BUF in 09, MIA in 10, BAL in 10, PHI in 11, MIA in 11, NYG in 11 etc)

It might be true if they're 2-6 at the bye week, but we're 2-2, it is way to early to push the panic button, but we need to make line up changes. Woody needs to push Shonn Greene to be benched! San Fran is probably the best team in football.

if they went through with the Tebow move for monday i would fly back, storm the FO and shove my green tinted shades down their throats. one bright spot from that would be that i would be able to give Antoni some xanax to spike Tanks diet soda with so he nods off again on the air. you have to look for the sunlight in every situation right?
