I dunno, the Giants would have to give up a lot to move into the top 10

I absolutely despise threads like these. Matt Leinart was the #1 overall pick last year EASILY, now people don't want to pick him in the top 10. Carson Palmer wasn't a first round pick until his senior year, and he went #1 overall. You don't have any idea how anyone will be ranked next year; you don't have any idea what needs this team will have by next seasonl you don't have any idea where we'll pick next year, and you have no idea who we'll pick this year. It's completely useless before this draft has even occured yet.

does anyone in this thread speak english? There is no guarantee that we will be able to pick the guys you want next year. To think about next years draft at this point is senseless.

If we pick QB brady quinn.

If we go WR which we should next year.
All the recievers for the next 2 years will be 6 feet or taller, this is the last draft with 5'9 WR's... Until 2009.

I guess that means the Steelers will trade Casey Hampton and their first round pick to the Jets for the Jets top five pick.

Matt jones ran a 4.3 though thats crazy speed for a white dude(no racist) im not saying he wont be a good player im just sayin he wont be a first round pick maybe a 2nd rounder.

If u hate threads like these why post in them [IMG]
By now if u have no iidea of who the jets are drafting something is wrong with, to say that makes no sence. And Carson was projected as a first round pick before his senior seaon just because u didnt know about him doesnt mean no body else did.

meanwhile Samardzija runs a 4.4/4.5, has 3 yrs WR experience, is 6'5 and has hands, so whats the problem. Money bet, Samardzija hits the combine and shows his 40 times, he's a lock as a 1st rounder. If a 2nd day draft pick project in Matt Jones could become a 1st rd pick based soley on his 40 time, i think Samardzija is a 1st rd pick. Samardzija is basically a Plaxico Burress with better hands

I actually think we can ge good next year. We have a pretty easy schedule our division isnt that strong and if we draft the right players we can be a wild card playoff team. But if we end of doing bad I would love to draft Adrian Peaterson.

Like it or not seconds, even miliseconds can make the difference between a first round pick and a second rounder(Chad Jackson), im not hoping he does bad i like him probably Stovall and Quinn are the only other players i like out of Notre Dame. But thats the way it is in the Nfl Draft.

Yes, and so does being good at your position. Samardzija didnt have one good game last year and put up average numbers. He was a beast. Hes gonna be a beast again this year. And i wasnt aware being 6'5 215 lbs and running a 4.4 is pedestrian. Do me a favor and look at the previous drafts than get back to me. If you got size and speed, youre a lock. We've seen way lesser players go in the 1st rd.

    2005
    Mike Williams
    Roddy White
    Troy Williamson
    Matt Jones

    2004
    Reggie Williams
    Michael Jenkins
    Rashaun Woods

and thats just the past 2 years. If Roddy White could be a 1st rounder, i think Samardzija is a lock.

I was just about to say:

"I know that RobA will agree with that 32nd overall spot, being voted most optimistic."
