Cavka probably own't even be on the roster. He's not even an every game starter in NFL Europe. Teams don't send potential starters to NFL Europe... it's their last stop before taking a course with All State.
I seem to remember Cavka being very impressive during preseason last year. Hopefully he can recover his game--if he can, he'd be a great backup. Katnik...don't get me started. Why is it that Justin McCairns gets ripped constantly but some people actually believe that Katnik is the answer?
Katnik should be given a chance. He has a big upside. Hey, he can't be worse than Goodwin who the Saints foolishly signed. Go back and watch the Atlanta game last year (Monday nite) and you'll see Goodwin "whiff" as the DL ran past him unblocked.
