How many passes did he sail over guys heads today? serious question. I don't recall many. And sometimes QBs do that. But why did MLF go away from having Zach roll out when it was working? Especially with the shitty OL play?
Zach misses at least 6 open receivers (2 on last drive alone) and directly cost them 3 points with an INT but he doesn’t even make the top 4? You have to be joking. He barely completed 50% of his passes. No one is going to say he is the sole reason they lost but come on….
It doesn't help when you only have 50 yards rushing. I'm sorry, but this team was winning when it could run the ball. That lightning is lost, and probably is gone for the rest of the season.
It’s only bizarre to those who have very low expectations and think 2 yards in a full half of football is acceptable + unattainable by a HS quality Qb. But you’ve run with that comment and turned it into something I never stated. I’m asking you to please stop. I don’t come here to get personal or talk about people’s families. I want to keep it to the Jets. Thanks
He did this repeatedly in the middle of the field. He did it a couple of times with both GW and Moore. He did it at least once with Berrios. He was also off target in the horizontal plane leaving balls out there that defenders had as much chance at as his receivers. He's done this for two years now. It's not like it's a sudden revelation. The Jets commitment to keeping him on the field despite the mechanical screwups has been hugely counter-productive because the lesson he seemed to take from that is that he didn't need to clear this stuff up.
No, he has not proven that he's the answer, but he hasn't proven he isn't either. It's not looking good though. That said, MLF and the OL do him (nor White) any favors. But especially Zach. He starts out rolling out and using his legs and moving the ball, and for some reason MLF dials that back and has him trying to play as a drop back QB. Yes, ach still needs to learn how to make plays form there, but they're handcuffing - anklecuffing to be exact - him.
Seriously? Like 5. He also missed receivers in other exciting directions, like left and right. Zach was below average today. Not terrible, but closer to that than average
I think the all 22 is going to be bad. He missed a lot of open receivers and got lucky on a few long balls he threw up for grabs. Now they need 3 in a row to even have a chance at the playoffs. Lets hope white can go on Thursday.
Bc most people are rationale. We recognize that ZW stinks. That this team is good with a few exceptions and qb is a major one. I'm drunk and gonna call out the people tonight bc I've had enough of them
I seem to recall one of the local critics here say nothing written on these threads has a bearing on the outcome of the game. Post game comments seem to validate that.
Zach fanboys should start their own damned forum where they can worship their FQB including Saleh if he plays him Thursday night just cos JD says so
Zach is way too far off (wildly inconsistent at best) from being a decent NFL QB. He's missing way too many basic fundamentals. He made some nice throws but missed way too many open receivers and just doesn't look comfortable back there. I feel like he's playing backyard football a lot That said, as long as White is hurt, it has to be Zach. I'm not hopeful honestly but gotta give let him see if he can figure it out. Plus Flacco is ass
