Let's see: Sanchez played well Braylon Fucking Edwards. We ran very well especially against a stout run D. There were plenty of positives, just none on the defensive side.
Another pathetic thread on TGG. How about the offense that put up 27 points? Or Edwards syncing in? Or Clowney finally breaking a for a few plays? Or Feelys record? Just wanted to create a thread didn't you?
and this has anything to do with finding positives in the game? Pull yourself together man......Sanchez to Edwards will only get better, Sanchez will develop, not every team we play will run the wildcat.
I don't understand why everything needs to be so black and white on this board. Either the sky is falling or we are going to win the superbowl. Look, the dolphins showed tonight that they are a lot better then we gave them credit for. They have a strong offensive line and the best running game in the NFL, and Henne made no mistakes the entire night. We lost a tough game on the road. Sucks it had to be against the dolphins but what do we expect? To win every week? Geez we are 3-2 with a rookie quarterback. I think most of us would have taken that bottom line after the first five games of the season.
IMO division rivalries are overrated. Sure, they make a nice pregame hype and are building blocks for good games, but in the end, if a team goes 0-6 in the division but still makes the playoffs (highly unlikely, I know) and win the SB, no one gives a shit if a division rival beat them during the regular season.
to win in the NFL you need to be solid in all 3 phases....at least decent. last week it was the offense this week it was the defense. when this team is playing at least decent on both O and D, we're a pretty damn good team. but consistency is important sigh
Everyone saying our offense played well is missing the point. This offensive play was expected. We were playing the freaking dolphins. When you are playing a team like the fins, you should expect to light them up (which we still didn't completely do, and without fake punts and penalties wouldn't have come close to). I take no positives because our D did NOTHING. After playing so well every week.
Braylon is exciting, loved seeing him in green. Clowney showed up, that was nice. Biggest thing for me was the TD drive after the Ginn score, showed balls.
Sanchez had a huge bounce back game. Edwards is a #1. The run game was finally on fire. There's 3 right there.... However, the defense was god awful, no positives for the D.
+500.... Losing to the pats makes me frustrated, I usually forgetabout losses to the bills after a couple of days... Dolphins losses are the only ones that make me physically sick to my stomach. My week is wrecked, and I'll probably be jaded until we play them again in 3 weeks
i dont want to say i agree entirely, but i feel this. It seems we can never win these type of games. I feel the misery right now. I am pissed. But unlike most other times I feel there is hope.
you guys need to relax. all this self pitty talk you're starting to sound like red sox fans. be men, we got beat, there is still plenty off football left to be played.
