The first NFL-less Sunday is here! Plenty of free time has opened up! Give me some hobby ideas or what you guys do instead of watching NFL football! I do miss the NFL and the Jets, but it is a little freeing having a break for awhile.
Honestly. This is a problem for all Jets fans. Let's move this to Jets main forum to see how people are dealing with No Jets and No Football.
Will focus on losing weight, I was down to 202 LBS but winter and NFL Sundays brought me back up to 224. Time to go below 200 LBS this offseason. I also will adopt either NBA or NHL even though New York teams are crap besides Rangers and Nets. I also plan to hit Jersey shore on Saturdays more often. A big hello to our British Jets fans who will visit this thread. A similar question was asked in the British Jets whatsapp group and I gave link to this thread.
I second DMW - enjoy your life you only have one. If you don’t have any other hobbies start one. Broaden your horizons for those who don’t have anything else to do. The Jets will be back and honestly the organization doesn’t think much about you the fan…..
Meh..I always have other stuff>> work and socializing going on guys So FA is a couple of weeks away the the 2022 Draft After Draft is a bit of a big letdown I guess
Buy fishing gear. Scheme on trips to favorite fishing & diving place. Do my taxes. Fight with the Jets about renewing my season tickets.
I've considered getting one of those. Good idea! Yeah, I love the Jets and the NFL season, but it is nice to have a break and focus on other things.
I save time by watching 15 minute highlight videos on NFL Youtube channel. I did it for all the playoff games. I feel like I didn't miss a thing.
I enjoy life and have plenty of interests but nothing substitutes for the good times and excitement I get from the NFL. I manage to get through it every year--MMA and then Baseball to some extent.
About a two month break with a little mini-camp blip. By the last week in July news starts filtering out of early training camp.
Mock drafts, and become delusional about all the to tier free agents that want to come to this shit show franchise, then convinced myself we're going to be a playoffs team!!!
When it comes to sports I usually follow hockey more closely but since my Islanders are in the toilet my interest is "meh" this year. I will wait for baseball but who knows when they will start the season. Probably give the USFL a chance but honestly when it comes to football only the NFL and CFB count.
I started playing Pickleball a couple of years ago, so hopefully, it will warm up a bit more so I can get my ass back out on the court.
