Westerman is stepping it up so far, hopefully he keeps it up. I'm a supporter of his, so it's nice to see.
Westerman needs to improve his run D. He put pressure on Brady but he also was a non-factor or easily pushed aside on too many run.
Westerman is not a run stuffer. They ran at him repeatedly from the shotgun. Great job rushing the passer though.
I think he beat a TE Welch(who got cut) and Matt Light, for each of his sacks. Lined up inside for one of them.
Yes, but those rules do not apply to the Baltimore Ravens and Hali Ngota. In fact, those guys get rewarded with touchdowns when breaking those rules.
Westerman did a good job. Hopefully, he continues to improve. We certainly need players who can get after the quarterback.
I hate to be that dude but slow up a little here. I like 55West and he has shown signs but 2 weeks in a row he has been destroyed in the running game....and I mean destroyed, not ok or showing signs... He needs to improve getting off blocks or blowing them up because in the past 2 games he has done neither. and I say this after rewatching the brutality of the past 2 weeks  Once he improves vs the run, I think we may see more of him
... i had to rewind it on the dvr about 5 times and couldn't stop laughing at how idiotic it was! ... l_j_r
For a guy with 2 sacks, I honestly do not feel he played that well. If he was only in for those 2 snaps, great awesome.............. wait for it...........but he wasn't. As others have said, he was terribad against the run. He needs to show up for more than 2 plays............Yes, I am that guy.
Its fair. He's done well when attacking the QB. I think when the season is over, Rex's DPR will have good not great stats and will have played solidly for the year. But yes, his deficiency against the run is his weakness. Most pass rushers do have an issue with RBs. He's young, so it can improve.
