No air raid sirens at the Stadium today?

An air raid siren today on a Jewish holy day may have been taken as a bit disrespectful since it's primary function was in WWII.

Also there was extra security at the stadium due to the heightened terror alert.

I really don't know why, just speculation.

Or BB could have complained, we will see at the Buffalo game.

 

I miss the siren. It was really distracting.

 

But the whiners that the pats are, I'm not suprised they might have complained about it.

^^Not by the rules of conduct at the stadium. If someone blew that in my ear I might get violent and shove it somewhere. Gone are the days when you could sneak in a 12 pack in the sleeves and hood of Big John on a cold day.

 

I was at the game from about 30 minutes before kickoff until about 30 minutes after the final whistle...and they did NOT use the air raid siren that was used last week against the Pats. As someone else said, they used a different one that almost sounded like an alarm going off. Nothing like the one that was used last week.

I'm pissed. I thought the air raid siren was going to become a "trademark" of ours.

Maybe because they were the Titans this week.

The air raid worked well if they were "Jets." The air raid alarm works well with "The Jets are coming" or something like that.

I was so pissed about that. They need to ditch that damn whistle forever and get the air raid siren back!

Over used for One game??? That thing spoke of when our defense was coming onto the field, and its about DAMN Time that other teams and fans feared US for a change! The Giants Stadium isnt exactly the 12th. man up in Seattle, and we need anything to get folks up and screwing with the opposing Play calls! Yesh............ we finally start to get a nasty identity, and there are those that dont like it!

 

I didn't hear it, they played another clip(sounded like a freight train or something) but I didn't hear the air raid.

There was during last week's game too. I wa ssurpised they could use it in the first place in the event of a real attack but after they used it once I assumed they would keep using it.
