    I don't think it hit him - I think he winced because he pulled his leg out of the way so sharply.

    Poster on MetsGeek started it, I love it though. They come up with some great nicknames for things over there.

    I think most people would have taken 2 runs over 3 and a 1/3 innings from Trachsel. That works out to a 5+ ERA, just above his season ERA.

    It's a great credit to his managerial skills. As fans we're all over the poor guy during the regular season for not taking this guy out, or putting this guy in. But I think he's showing this postseason that his priority as a manager is not to make fans "happy" (or to frustrate them for that matter) but to do what is best for his team in said instance and future games as well. He's managing these games like there is no game tomorrow, and I love that aggressive approach.

    Well, that was a strike, so I don't think the Dodgers have anything to complain about concerning the strike zone.
