The pitching match-ups are looking as follows:

Game One: RHP Derek Lowe vs. RHP Orlando Hernandez
Game Two: LHP Hong-Chih Kuo vs. LHP Tom Glavine
Game Three: RHP Greg Maddux vs. RHP Steve Trachsel

    Kuo.

We need to beat that sumbitch.

Shake that "Can't hit the lefties" tag.

If Penny isn't hurt, Grady Little is as stupid as they come starting a rook against us.

Tough draw for the Mets, I'd rather face the Padres in the first round. The Dodgers have 2 very good starters and a lefty (which the Mets can't beat) in the first 3 games.

Penny is hurt. He will be coming out of the pen.

The draw is what it is, if anyone beats the Mets it's going to be them shooting themselves in the foot with poor pitching. The Mets are head and shoulders above any team in the NL.

I'd rather they face the Dodgers in the DS.

I love this draw... I hope to beat the Dodgers and the Cardinals both old school NL rivals...

Cardinals/Padres is going to be a snoozer.

Glavine vs. Maddux would've been fun. Should be a good series. Mets should pull this one out, but I'm personally more fearful of the Dodgers than I am of the Padres at this point.

I'd rather see the Dodgers than the Padres. Peavy IMO is by far the best starter of the group (2.64 era in Aug/Sep). If we are going to talk about Kuo than you can't forget about David Wells.

I don't think the Mets should have much of a trouble.

I wonder who's going to win the Padres/Cards series. That should actually be decent.

*FITM, If you made that Mets smilie, would you mind making one that says Let's Go Yankees! ? :)*

Is that Hong-Kong Fuey guy the lefty rookie who pretty much manhandled the Mets his last start vs. us?

Keith Law, of Scouts, Inc., is stupid. Plain, good, old fashioned stupid.

No, he always hits second, and he's stayed there because he isn't a weak point. He's a .318/.355 guy who just had the best hitting summer of his life. If that's a weakness, well hell, I'll take it.

    Eh...wha....abba babba....huh....whoo...ehh

Did he write this in July, as a guess? I don't get it. Just, like....what?!

Heath Bell isn't even on the god damned roster and Hernandez and Oliver are two worst-case scenario guys who have been as good as the first options in most teams bullpens. Do you even watch baseball?
