It's a baseball game when Billy Wagner comes in the game.

He gave me a scare and I wanted the Mets to lose :rofl2:

.... I would not trust him tommrow night or throughotu the World Series.

Mets win. So...can I go out on a limb and assume that you guys wouldn't rather have Wagner than Rivera anymore?

Seriously though, you have to think that the series has turned back in their favor. I mean, they just beat a Cy Young winner in an elimination game with John Maine on the mound.

Really, what does Willie do with Wagner tomorrow night. I don't see how you can bring him in if the game is close in the last inning.

I think it depends on how close a game it is. With Oliver on the hill, you have to figure that the bullpen will be pitching 3 innings at least. If it's a close game in the 7th and 8th innings, you have to figure that Randolph will call on Heilman--he has no choice. Then Wagner would have to close out the game.

But if for some reason (an Oliver gem or a late St. Louis comeback attempt) Heilman hasn't entered the game when the 9th inning rolls around, if it's a lead of less than 3 you better believe that he would get the nod over Wagner.

Wagner will be the closer tomorrow, just like every game this year.

Well, it's going to be Oliver tomorrow - Perez or Darren, we don't know.

    yep......

By the way, I have no idea what to expect tomorrow night. Will Suppan dominate again? What Perez will show up? Will David Wright finally look like the hitter he was all season? Will Rolen be effective or will the go with Spezio/Duncan? Will Belliard snack in the dugout between innings?
