This next half inning is so important because if they tie or take the lead, it'll be hard to stop their momentum with out 7-8-9 coming up after the 4-5-6 looked that bad.

 

I don't think he is overwhelmed, just having a tough stretch. It is really unfortunate that it is happening in the playoffs, but what can you do.

i hate this move... i like bradford because he has good control and gets groundballs... feliciano always seems to fall behind early and pitch his way into trouble especially if hes left in to face eckstein

(I imagine that Feliciano has instructions not shake off LoDuca like he did last night.)

Some comments:

1)Belliard hurt the Cards by stealing the ball from Eckstein. Belliard's also a bastard for falling on Reyes.

2)You heard that stat? 0/33 are hitters with RISP and 2 outs vs. Cards pitching in playoffs. TV guys stole it from the radio guys. They said it like a minute later.

3)Buck: "He has already given the Mets more than they wanted."

Ummm, what? The Mets didn't want a shutout from Maine? You frickin' moron, Buck.

 

Oh my freaking God - Willie brings in Mota to face Duncan the lefty HR hitter.

If this blows up in his face, it will be inexcusable.
