I would guess Weaver. He's only pitched in St. Louis for a couple of months, hard to say if home or away would matter. Probably not enough to move Carpenter up, Game 6 is already guaranteed and he's going to need him. Might as well have him at full strength if you have the option.
yup, sorry. that's how much I think of Weaver, I can't even be bothered to remember his name. we're going to light him up tomorrow. if it starts to rain, that's going to be because Delgado is knocking the precipitation out of the clouds!
Carlos I with the single. If not for the dive by Eckstein, the Mets would already have a run. Weaver looks eminently hittable, Carlos II - time for another 3 run jack.
Pretty funny how now they're saying it's so important to pitch Delgado inside. There's no question that he's hitting the outside pitch in the postseason, but how many times all season did we see him try to pull the outside pitch and hit a weak ground ball to the right side? Just like he just did.
Wright is looking like the other guy that plays third base in NY, he's so insignificant when it counts I forgot his name
Glavine doesn't look too great so far, and this umpire is already squeezing him. This could be a long night.
