this was your typical steve trachsel regular season start. i don't think i'd categorize it as "alright".

Broncos didn't cover. I have to settle for a tie in the Yahoo league now.

Why couldn't they run up the score like they did against the Jets last year?

    Question of the night:

Pitch Glavine on three days rest tomorrow or hold him off till Game 6?

Crappy throw by Wright on that ground ball. Please take more infield practice, David.

Pray for rain tomorrow night. The Mets have 0 options other then Glavine to pitch tomorrow.

Decent shot for it. From the Weather Channel:

Periods of rain and wind. Rain may be heavy late. High near 55F. Winds SE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 80%. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected.

nice analysis joe. because it couldn't possibly be the guy that pitched 6 shutout innings in relief of trachsel yesterday.

perez's start tonight has also been upgraded to "terrific"

Rain would be a blessing but it also give the Cards the option of pitching Carpenter in game 5 if tommorow night is a rainout.

On three days rest? After a rough outing last time? I'm not sure about that. I think they'd rather throw him against Maine again.

I'd have to think if the Mets were gonna throw a 4o year old Glavine on 3 days rest so why not a younger Carpenter?
