    Well quite funny that this just happend but it was the shortstop that dropped the ball on purpose.

    If the Mets lose tonight and you want to take out your frustration on this board go do so in a Raiders thread. They are playing bad once again. I hope Raiderjoe makes an appearance in the coming days.

    I didn't know that, and based on what he's done in New York, I can't believe it! He has been just awful in everything except throwing since he got here.

    Wow those were 2 terrible at bats by Chavez and Perez. I might be wrong but Chavez's speed why not have him lay a bunt down to move Valentin to 2nd?

    Reyes out after 4 innings. Obviously the Cards now think that their bullpen (which has not been good all year) can shut the Mets down.

    I'm not liking the way Perez looks right now - he seems to have lost focus, which is when he runs into big trouble.

    should've been an inning ending double play, but valentin can't apply a tag

    Valentin really blew that play - he was nowhere near the bag, after a perfect throw by Lo Duca.
