I will be sending your picture to gate security to make sure you can't get into any games for the rest of the postseason.
Ah, but so was I, and I was undefeated this year (two games). If you plan on going again you clearly must bring me.
I should really keep track of my game record... I was 2-0 at spring training, probably somewhere about .700 for the 12-15 games I went this season and now 2-0 in the playoffs. Not bad.
You superstitious folks would say I should not be allowed in Shea Stadium. The Mets have scored 1 run in the 23 innings I've seen them play in person in 2006. (One game was in San Diego; the other in Philadelphia.) Last July I saw the Mets get shutout by the Braves. 32 innings, 1 run. Well, I didn't get an email from the Mets. It looks like I'm not going to any of the remaining postseason games.
Enjoy the game! As for Cliff being on the roster, I hope it's not one of those things where he tries going game 1 and gets shut down the rest of the series. I heard Ed Coleman yesterday saying that he didn't look great in field while he was working out.
These first two games and especially tonight's game are huge, the Mets have to win the Glavine starts. I guess we'll see what Cliff can do but I'd prefer to not have him on the roster if he's going to be hobbling around in LF.
Warning about tonight. The forecast is calling for an 80% chance of rain and rainfall of almost half an inch. But looking at it on an hourly basis, it should start late in the night, like 11 or 12
Do they have the same rules in the playoff as regular season games? Has a playoff game ever been called after 6 innings or so or do they postpone it and finish it another day?
