Well, pretty obvious Wagner has nothing, so the Mets wouldn't have won this game anyway.

    a 15-0 loss would've been 100000x better then this.

I am sick to my stomach.... and this game takes on a completely different direction if Mota doesn't cost us homefield. Taguchi is never in the game and HGH never gets an at bat

who knows how he would've pitched with a 2 run lead

mets are in deep deep shit. we wasted our entire bullpen and a knocking around of their ace. now we get to watch 2 absolute pieces of shit take the mound in St Louis followed up by a guy that has a career 6.75 ERA in the postseason on 3 days rest.

I just don't see how we win this series now, this series was over in the 7th inning and Mota saved the season for the Cards. Oh by the way is David Wright or A Rod playing 3rd base tonight, the way Wright has his in ths series they might have to change it to A Rod

Now the most overrated manager in the history of baseball will get his you know what sucked by the media after he inserted Taguchi in the lineup.

Even if the 1st 3 guys get on I have no confidence in anybody to get on base after that

Nope. This is Wagner we're talking about - he either has it or he doesn't. There is absolutely no way he pitches more carefully with a two run lead than with the score tied. If he has the nerve to say that he wasn't "into it" tonight, then he should be sent on his way.

Of course he's not going to say it but you never know how the mind of a redneck simpleton works.

He's been on base twice tonight and was never up with anyone on base. Let's just relax here.

Give Fox credit on that graphic - the Mets were carried by their bullpen this season, and it hasn't been all that great this postseason.

Yes 11 earned runs but how many of them came tonight between Wagner and Mota and how many belonged to Mota in the LA series? It's not fair to blame the bullpen when pieces of shit like Mota aren't carrying their weight.

I agree...you guys need to just relax a bit..still think you will win the series.

The one bad thing if I were a Met fan that would bother me about tonite is not only the loss...but they allowed the Cards to get their bats cranking and got hits from guys that have been struggling.

Game 3 is the key...always has been...almost a must win.

I give Fox credit for nothing other than sucking at life. I missed everythign from the Spezio triple on because the signal got fucked up. Thats the second day in a row. I dont understand what is so freakin difficult about it. I watch hundreds of sporting events and rarely have anything outside of a minor glitch. But Fox loses the entire game from the 7th inning on. Go to Hell FOX
