I have Junc on ignore for obvious reasons. Under those conditions when your team can't run the ball and your getting sacked or hit on every play not turning the ball over when your inside your own 20 in a 3 or 4 point ball game and scoring when you have field position is exactly how to win. That's exactly what happened. The 49ers moved the ball more simply because they had the luxury of being in better field position the entire second half. The 1 time the Giants were in field position, Eli drove them right in for a TD. The 49ers starting field position was their 32, 46, 45, 35, 29 36 and 22. The Giants started every possession at or inside their 20 with the exception of the 2 punts they recovered. Eli drove them right in for the TD on the muff when he had field position to actually take a risk. You can't look at football in a vacuum. Conditions and score dictate how you play. Eli played a great game. You are a lot smarter than Junc but you seem to have the same blinders on based on your personal bias.
It must be hard to pass for big yards when you are down 24 to 0 against a prevent. Keep switching calls lol. Keep switching them in your mind.
Yeah they were just playing prevent when w few mins into the 2nd half we had the game down to 24-10 and just a week earlier they came back from a 14 pt deficit against Baltimore. They just let us throw the ball and score points.
Awww you have me on ignore? how typically gutless of you. I like all the excuses after 3rd called you out.
It seems like you're the one looking at this game in a vacuum. The 49ers had better field position in the 2nd half precisely because of the Giants offense's inability to move the ball. You're also ignoring the fact that the first fumble on the punt return was a completely unforced error, it had nothing to do with the Giants and without that they would've lost the game. To try and paint it like Eli was this sage just waiting for his opportunity to "take a chance" is disingenuous. He fumbled once and his team was fortunate enough to recover and had 2 sure INTs broken up by 49ers colliding with each other. He was slinging the ball around all game, pretty much like he's done all year long and while he had success in the first half, whatever halftime adjustments the 49ers D made Eli and the Giants had absolutely no answer for.
Apparently so. I heard that Sandusky's attorney is going to say that Sandusky wasn't molesting the boys, but instead he was recruiting tight ends. Jerry Sandusky is writing his autobiography. It's called "from Penn State to State Pen".
To what end? I have chossen to ignore a couple of people on this board. You think I give a shit if they personally attack me? I don't give a shit if people I respect personally attack me.
