We all know that Mr Sanchize would have pix sixed us out of that game in the first half and if we are keeping stats for dropped interceptions against Qb then Sanchez would have had at least ten extra Picks against him this year.
Sanchez went to two consecutive AFC Championships the learning curve was over the first day of this season. As LT said on Inside the Nfl this week stop babying Sanchez and make him play like a man. Once his protection of the best Line in the league was gone the truth came out. He is a bottom tier Qb and will never be anything more.
how many pick 6's does he have in postseason? how soon we forget Eli threw 25 INTs a year ago and Sanchez was playing well in the title game- better than Eli played yesterday but we didn't get saved by a whistle like Eli and the Giants did.
If we would have had Eli in the title game last year we would have been going to the super bowl like the Giants are this year. Eli got sacked and Chased around that field all day yesterday and all he did was win.
From what you have seen of Sanchez so far if he was in Eli's position yesterday do you think he would have been able to do anything with that kind of pressure the Niners brought yesterday?
Eli didnt deserve to win yesterday, give me a break. When the game was tied 17-17 with 5 minutes left, Eli had the ball 5 FUCKING times. 5 times. 3 before overtime and then 2 in overtime. In those 5 possesions he failed to get his team into FG range all 5 times to win the game. Give me a break, how can you not get your team close to FG range when you have 5 tries!??!
The Niners Defense is pretty good bro. If Sanchez would have been there that game would have been over in the first half.
Imagine if Sanchez throws 2 picks in a championship game and throws for 0 TDS? The Jets would get compltely blown out, As I said. The way to winning championship games is to suck, because thats how Brady did it in 07 (3 picks), and Rothelisberger always does it. And hell Peytons only Super Bowl run he played terrible the whole time.
One and the same? LMFAO. 49ers linebackers are all miles ahead of our linebackers. We have no one nearly as good as Aldon Smith, Patrick Willis is the BEST ILB in the game and Bowman is far superior to the discarded leftovers that is Bart Scott. Who on our Dline can get a push like Justin Smith? No one... 49ers safeties are better then Eric Smith/Jimmy. On offense, their Oline is far superior at run blocking, they have studs at RB and a TE that several times better then Keller. All they lack is someone opposite Crabtree and a Qb that can get them the ball... Only thing the Jets have over the 49ers is Corners..
No we we wouldn't have, Mark played better at Pitt tha Eli did last night. Eli led the Giants to 10 2nd half/OT pts- both scores were results of muffed/fumbled pun returns setting the giants up deep in SF territory. W/ those weapons and being more mobile than Eli he would have done as well at least. Eli gave up immediately on many of those sacks where Sanchez will buy time w/ his legs.
Idk, their D was ranked 4th, and ours was 5th. I think its better because they tackle and rush the QB better, but I wouldn't say its in a whole different league.
That's what I took away from it as well, Patrick Willis was the best player on the field IMO. I will say this and it pains me to say it but Eli willed the Giants to victory. He took an absolute beating yet never shied away from a hit and never allowed the hits take a toll on the objective. I do think if Eli was the Jets QB we'd still be playing. Obviously that's fantasy but a lot of Jet fans want to shit on the guy but I think it's time we put him in the elite category.
My eyes tell me SF is better, obviously they have no Revis but they have an elite game changer in Willis. Teams can gameplan around Revis you can't around Willis. That guy is a beast. One of the best players in the league. I didn't watch a lot of 49er games this year but I don't think they constantly gave up points in big spots ei the Teblow drive in Denver like ours did.
I hate Eli, but I 100% agree with this assessment. Anybody saying he played poorly yesterday was watching a different game.
Eli was good, ntohing more than that. He went into the fetal position when SF got close to him, most of the day he had all day to throw. SF had some effective blitzes that he went down immediately almost before he was touched. he had the 2 awful passes that he was lucky weren't picked and he had a fumble. He laos led the Giants to 2 scores in the 2nd half and OT- both came after fumbled/muffed PRs and if they make the right call on the Bradshaw fumble he doesn't get the 2nd score b/c SF wins in regulation. Eli was good, nothing more. He is getting way too much credit, if Sanchez played a game like that he would get killed for it. He had a GOOD game, too many people are saying he was great.
That is the problem. My eyes showed me a Mediocre to bad Qb being protected for two years by a good team around him and this year when he did not have it as good and he had to earn his money his true colors came out.
Eli got lucky he had TWO HORRIBLE passes that are EASY picks 99 times out of 100. Had those simple picks happened Eli's game looks a whole lot different. The giants got very very lucky yesterday, simple as that, some franchises have it, some don't.
