He is the only bright spot on our ST this year. Great job Folk.

To be fair, he was pretty solid last year too if you take away the 3 (I think) blocked kicks he had.

Folk has been great for the Jets for years

The FG in Indy in the '10 play-offs, where his scream (YEAH!) is the only thing you hear in a suddenly silent stadium, is one of my all time favorite Jet moments

But I wish he'd miss a FG now and then, because the fear of him missing an important kick is hard to bear ( remember Morton Anderson on the Vikes in '98?)

Folk is just automatic this season. He's like Yul Brynner in Westworld, just strolls in slams it through the up rights and gets in done, ice in his veins.

Folk has been great for us. I hope he continues doing well. We are lucky to have him.

Recently, I've been panicking whenever he has to kick. No kicker has ever hit 100% of his kicks in a season. My dread is when he finally shanks one, it's going to be one we need BIG TIME. See, even when we are doing good, an old time Jets fan can find something to bitch about!

If it wasn't for our defensive linemen, Folk would be team MVP this year.

Frankly, if forcing Folk to compete makes him a dead certainty on his FG attempts then I say that we keep doing it! After all, it isn't as if he has always been Mr. 100%. When we started scrounging the league for kickers to compete against Folk he was hardly automatic and even mediocre actually for awhile. However, he has reacted to the competition like a true competitor and it has made him much better. In fact, I think it can be argues that the awesome kicker Folk has become is BECAUSE of the competition. some peeps thrive on it (Folk) while others whither (Sanchez).

Same here. I also find myself wishing that the announcers wouldn't harp so much on his "perfection" to date. Almost like they're trying to jinx him :)

That's a pretty obscure reference! Of course, Yul Brynner didn't have ice in his veins in that movie, but rather hydraulic fluid.

Glad someone picked up the reference, great film. Okay, hydraulic fluid in Folk's veins, I like that.

Watching the Houston/Indy game made me so happy and thankful for Folk.

Of the four kickers left in the NFL with a 100% accuracy record on Field Goals this season, two have made 12 and one has made 10.

    Nick Folk has made 23.

Folk has been extremely impressive on FG's.
He's really added strength to his kickoffs too. 25 out of 44 kickoffs have been touchbacks.

    He's on an All-Pro pace..

Guy needs to go back to the Pro Bowl this year, now if only we had a great punter

Hearing Rex call him "Folk Hero" is awesome.
