Meh its only pre season. As the weeks drag on with the season its not good to have all oldies on the D-line, they get tired. Which is what we saw with Ellis last year and drafted two new D-lineman
my bad, this should work http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/6881362/for-patriots-d-line-rich-keep-getting-richer
That didn't work either. Just copy and paste- like this: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3018338
Shaughnessy is not typically a ball-washer like this... he had it out with Kraft when Pete Carroll was still coaching here. Kraft was talking about their draft that season and the article that followed was all about how his meddling as an owner is what drove Parcells out of town. He's a columnist for the Globe but cut his teeth as a baseball writer, so... take it for what it's worth. (Which would be nothing.) Preseason is meaningless in all sports, but especially in the NFL. Football games are about adjustments, changes of momentum, etc. You don't get that in preseason because by the second half there are guys on the field who are essentially trying out. I do think the Patriots will be more aggressive defensively though. Their secondary isn't great, but it should be a lot better than last year.
