This would be a great draft.....top notch quality players, and all at positions of need.......I am sick and tired of people asking for a NT in the draft, who the hell is worth taking????? Am I missing something??

I just do not see us passing on Blaylock if he is there at 25. One way to fix your defense against the run is to keep the defense off the field. Our right side of the OL has too many holes to pass on someone who is about a safe a 1st rounder as you can get in Blaylock.

Agreed. DeMarcus Tyler has just been trouble and the other potential NTs could be around in rounds 5-7. And even Tyler is just 305 pounds.

we just signed coleman so there would be no point in drafting that dude from hawaii. this draft is almost the same but better. this would be my draft

    #25. Darrelle Revis
    #59. Quentin Moses
    #63. Jason Hill
    #89. Manny Ramirez

Well the point would be to have a very strong rotation going, but I see what you mean.

I'd still rather draft him and Hill, because it looks like a decent or better WR prospect will be available on day 2.

I would hate this draft. NT and OG are our biggest needs. Blalock has to be our pick if the board falls this way, and there will be some NT prospects in the 2nd round.

NFLDraftCountdown changed its mock again today (17 March). The Jet's only change is

    (#89) Brandon Mebane

He doesn't show Manny Ramirez getting drafted in the first three rounds anymore. I have serious reservations about our choices in this mock. First, all the picks are on defense. Second, all of the picks except for Revis seem to be a little high risk to me. I'm not against controlled risk with possible high reward, but taking this many risks on the first day seems unreasonable. Maybe I just don't know these guys well enough.

Revis posted a sub 4.4 40 at his pro day. I would love getting Blalock in this draft but grabbing Ramirez would soften that blow. Plus Moses at pcik 60-something is a flat out steal. He was seen as a top 15 pick not too long ago. GIVE ME THIS DRAFT!!!!

Oh, and I love Mebane as a 3-4 end. And even though we signed Coleman depth along the DL is mandatory in the Mangini system.

Decent draft. I wouldn't love it, but I wouldn't hate it. I'd rather Meachem or Blalock in the 1st. Moses pick is interesting, he has the talent to be a steal... but I don't trust him to live up to it.

Awesome draft for you guys. Man I'd be pissed if you got
    Ikaika Alama-Francis DE Hawaii
the pick before us. Really like that kid.

I can live with that. I think Darelle will be BPA at 25 so that makes sense. Moses is a great pick in the second and Francis as well. Ramirez may be a steal in three but I think its do-able. Definately ok with me. I may be more interested in an OLB in one and a corner at 2a but if this is how we have to do it then fine by me!

    Yes indeed.

I love the thinking by that crew. Load up on Defense to give the Jets offense more opportunities to go 3 and out.
