Right, that's what Collinsworth was referring to - since the ball had bounced the receiving player doesn't have an automatic right to the ball.
Got it. That's what I figured. Collinsworth isn't always right so I figured I'd ask lol. They call offensive pass interference twice a year and decided to cost the Niners the game over it. That hurts us. Damnit.
Would have been nice to see a replay from the other side, since the one they showed from behind the receiver certainly didn't show any PI
Fucking Rams. I had the Rams in my office pool giving 2.5. Up 41-26 midway thru the 4th and they hold on to win 41-39.
Wow, that's unexpected. Flacco looks pathetic and Blake Bortles looks like a superstar. And now the Jaguars run a fake punt on 4th-and-1 up by 37 points late in the third quarter. Is there bad blood between those two teams, because that's really rubbing Baltimore's face in it.
The Ravens are being shut out and yet the game beat the over of 38 1/2 easily. That's what is called a beatdown.
Wow...At 0-4 you guys think they bag Bowles?? Gut says he wont last the Season at this rate If he does and we win 1x the Owners are in on the Season Tank
Takes two tries, but Blount gets into the end zone for the Eagles. 7-0 Eagles after an 18-play 90-yard drive.
Bizarre sequence in Philly. Shepard gets stopped on the one inch line. The Giants go shotgun, Eli throws a perfect pass, Shepard catches it and then loses it when he hits the ground, and on fourth down the Giants try to run up the middle and get crushed. Giants get nothing.
Bears had a long TD on special teams, but Marcus Cooper basically stopped on the 1 yard line to showboat and the ball got stripped no touchdown
Unbelievable idiocy by Cooper of Bears - he breaks a gigantic run on a blocked FG and then he slows down five yards before the end zone and a Steeler bats the ball out of his hand on the one yard line. A Steeler then bats the ball out of the end zone so it can't be recovered, which gives the Bears the ball on the half-yard line. The Steelers entire team is in the clubhouse and then rushes out. The Bears then have a false start, so they have to kick a FG instead. They're still up 17-7 at the half.
