The pats still won the division last season until a team comes in and shits on there helmets, Gay analyst like Darren Woodshit will keep it up. We need to knock those fuckers off the throne once and for all.
That's true. But it's also true they got in based on a division record that was in part run up before Welker went down, and went to the playoffs and were asswhipped by the Ravens, exposed for all to see. Meanwhile the Jets went to the Conf champ game. So, yeah, Pats won the division but then looked like crap in the post season, while the Jets looked pretty good. I agree normally that a team is on top until they are not, but that sort of take on the Pats ignores the foregoing.
I got to see a little of SportsNation before I went to work earlier this week, and Cowherd mentioned that this is around the time that Moss starts feeling entitled and gets lazy. I don't necessarily think that it will lead to any kind of statistical drop off, but hopefully he will do further damage to the already tumultuous Pats locker room.
I agree with some of you and the logic that you implore upon us, most notably this: but without me really getting into all of my thoughts and opinions (which I may have to later) for why I believe this to be incorrect let me clear this up with those of you who emphatically seem to embrace the patriots as this "dominant force" yes I can possibly see a tard like Woodson picking the pats, but the question for debate for our purpose is "who is the team to beat in the AFC east in 2010" and are you guys really saying that YOU think its the patriots?
The Pats had a great draft (hard not to with the amount of picks they had). They added several pieces to their team on both offense and defense. I absolutely think they are moving in a positive direction. The race for the AFC East should be wild.... sucks to be Buffalo.
