I saw the schedule and I'm also uncertain about how the season will turn out. However, I won't worry too much about it. I'm surprised that the Patriots @ Jets game will be on Thanksgiving. This is the 2nd time within 2 years that the Jets hosted a Thanksgiving game, but this time there's a lot to worry about since Jets got swept by the Pats last season.
Love the Thanksgiving Game !!!!! Eat a little Turkey, watch a couple games, then the big game at night !!!!!
I'd agree if you're not going to the game, but it is absolutely not conducive to creating the home field advantage to help beat your biggest division rival. And to be on the road the week before a shortened week is never good...
Opener against Bills is fine. We'll find out if the pass protection has been fixed right away. Everything after that blows chunks until the bye. I hate Miami twice before the bye, that's 1-1. Then you have @Steelers (likely loss), 49ers (brutal defense), Texans (hard to see the Jets doing better than 1-1 vs 49ers and Texans), gimme game against Indy and then @Pats. Looks like 4-4 at the bye if the Jets have pass protection next year and 3-5 if they don't. Can't stand another year of knowing the Pats will have the division locked up by week 10.
So I already know 2 games I'm def going too ... :breakdance: 6 Sun, Oct 14 vs Indianapolis 1:00 PM Tickets 12 Thu, Nov 22 vs New England 8:20 PM NBC Tickets
Will you Look at that schedule! Well at least we will know how our season is going to go by week 7 or 8 hmy: My conspiracy theory about the NFL and the Jets continues. Hate hate you too NFL!
I think that playing the Bills the first game of the year, 100% healthy is the worst thing for the Jets. They are gonna kick your asses!! Yeah baby...go BILLS!! troll?
That's a negative ghost rider! If anything it will show your team wasted all that money on a scrub who is going to find himself out of a job in the next year or two. Yeah I'm talking about Nix-Patrick. Missed it by that much! :buffaloblows:
I like that the Patriots play the 49ers and Texans very late in the season, no running away with the division, and if they do they will have to work hard for it.
Well I hope Woody Johnson enjoys seeing lots of Red Jerseys on Thanks Giving because many Jet season ticket holders will be selling those tickets so they can spend the holiday with family,,,,,but I can see many Patriot fans BEING in the stands,,I say something like 60 - 40 jet fans being the 60........I guess Woody just wants fannies in the seats and could care less if they have patriot jerseys on so long as their ca$h is green
