More of your delusions, I see. Ever since the Pats had their miracle 16-0 2007 year, the Jets are 4-5 in facing the pats. You don't want to admit it, but your disdain for the Jets is, in part, due to the fact that we're the only team to go head to head with your golden boy. The idea of what Rex's defense would do to a new fresh patriots QB must terrify you. I can't wait. It would be like seeing Justin Bieber go to a maximum security prison.
I personally hate it because its 7 hours of driving on Thanksgiving which I will NOT do. One of the only games of the season I'll be putting up for sale.
Please after last year, the Bills posed a bigger threat last year and we handled em both time easily. The Bills arent suprising anyone next year, everyones ready to take em on. Y'all got a big target on your back.
Like I said, looking past any team, especially a division rival right out of the gate is a recipe for disaster.
I wouldn't look past the Bills. Your D-line if they play up to potential will definately create problems. Your LB's and DB's will improve because of it. Offensively you guys have some weapons. I am not a big fan of Fitzpatrick but Jackson and Spiller are dangerous. You still need another WR to ride shotgun with Johnson. I still expect the Jets to win both games but they will be hard fought.
Even though the Jets have a 5 game winning streak against the Bills, most have been very close and hard fought on both sides. TBH, with the Jets recent history of starting out slow and the Bills history of starting out well, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Bills win week 1. The bigger question is, will both teams be relevant for the rematch on the final weekend of the Regular Season?
For F#@k's sake Your team Got its ass beat by the Jets in convincing fashion. Just like a ban-wagon Pats fan to try and sound all invincible when you to can be beat son! :gpc: Dislike the Giants , but hows that feel snake bitten two time! Barney!
The Pats play the exact schedule as the Jets except they play the teams that came in 1st place in the other AFC divisions and the Jets play the teams that came in 2nd, so technically the Jets have an easier schedule. The only reason they say the Pats have an easier schedule is because the Pats playing the Jets lowers the record of their opponents, and the Jets playing the Pats raises the record of their opponents...
"The Jets are a mediocre, 8-8 dysfunctional football team who added an injured safety and the worst QB in the NFL, but somehow they will go 12-4? Good luck with that." Worst QB in the league: Blaine Gabbert. Now go away. ats_suck:
One game has been really close, 3 of the last 4 Jets wins(both 'in '10 and the first in '11) were bad blowouts. What recent history of starting slow? what Bills history of starting out well? Under Rex the Hets have started the first qtr of seasons: 3-1 3-1 2-2 2009 Buf started 1-3 2010 Buf started 0-4 '11 Buf started off great but that doesn't mean it is a trend and 2-2 last year was the Jets worst start under Rex.
In 2010 the Dolphins started off 2-0 and all we heard was how they are taking the #2 spot. Then last year the same with the Bills. Ultimately what it has come down to, is that fact that your coaches have sucked. Chan Gailey isnt a big time coach and will never win with the Bills.
What is a "Big Time Coach?" Is that stuff that is spoon fed from the media? I'm not saying Chan will or won't be successful, but you sound quite vague in your assessments. Why exactly won't Chan Gailey ever win with the Bills?
As a long time jets fan certain games really dont matter who knows what team will come out and play. lets just take it one game at a time and go from there
Sorry. Couldn't resist. Well, almost. You guys have to play the Patriots, where we only have to play the Jets.
