And continuing their ad nauseum overkill, ESPN's hunky beefcake John Clayton describes Michael Sam's inability to avoid a visit from The Turk as "disappointing." Like anybody else, I wish Michael Sam all the best in the future but as the Rams' Chris Long put it: Dear ESPN, Everyone's over it, except you.
Funny you should mention that, people around the league are blaming ESPN's hype for killing Sam's career http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...mes-espn-for-lack-of-interest-in-michael-sam/ It's like ESPN discovered gay people existed and went crazy
I hope he finds a spot somewhere that's not Canada..... Just not the cowboys. I really don't need to hear brokeback mountain jokes all day at work. Again.
Except that he wasn't treated like everyone else. The media had a field day with him, and gave him more attention than anybody else on the team.
Looks like it's official, Michael Sam to the Cowboys practice squad. http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/11458402/michael-sam-signs-dallas-cowboys I'm curious, Sam's jersey was top 6 in sales back in July. What do you do with that jersey now? And does his Dallas jersey become a top seller too? http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/jul/21/michael-sams-jersey-in-top-10-of-nfl-sales/ _
Why not? It's good pub for the league and doesn't cost all that much. He probably called in a marker on Jerry, said he wouldn't press him on the Peterson thing or the sex photos thing or the Blandino partying on the Cowboy bus thing. _
Maybe it's just because I didn't watch all the Rams games, but I thought he was playing really well. Is that not true?
He played well but it against 2nd and 3rd stringers and couldn't crack their D and he doesn't fit their style. _
