Well actually we already had Coles but Bradway botched the whole tendering deal, then he had to give up one of his first rounders to get him back. Not one of his shining moments if you ask me....
I enjoy it as well... BUT, it's a TIVO event.. You'd have to be insane to sit and watch it all.. TIVO through to what positions you're interested in. To me, it seems that every year the draft becomes less and less of the "Crapshoot" people used to call it.... Considering the human element and the fact that there's always injuries as well as opportunities players get or don't get as well as a supporting cast, it will never be black and white.. But, that's the beauty of it.
Well if you think JV/DeW & BT are either game breakers or game changers then your standards & mine are on very different levels. Out there in the entire FB world when it is all said & done the only fans that will remember there names will be NYJ fans since there impact on the rest of the league will be zero. As for Coles remember he was a NYJ & jumped ship & to get him back we had to give up Santana. Not a very good manuever on the part of our fine FO & CS at the time
I never said they were game breakers I was just arguing with you when you labeled Santana Moss, Bryan Thomas, DeWayne Robertson, and Jon Vilma all as "average at best".......is 8.5 sacks the average standard around the league??? I guess leading the league in tackles and winning DROY is also average at best.......and so on......
Champ thinks anyone on the Jets is average or bad. Only guys on other teams are "game changers". He called D'Brick a "plodding lineman". I don't know who we're taking this year but I know champ will not like the guy.

The point is they are all better than average players that are good additions to a TEAM.....we do not need superstars at every position....... in the NFL, it ain't happening buddy
you do realize of course you are talking about a TOTALLY non productive player this past season in JV a so so at best DeW & a the same for BT as DeW. The reason we have won zero in 38 years just like the Cards/Lions amongst others is because we do not secure quality ball players & have not for years & years & years. As they say you are what you are by your record & record says zero championships in 38 years so that means we have obtained less then quality players over the years. You can shake the dice anyway you want but the record is the record & you & nobody can change or alter that
very much like MLS...the best players dont play in it, so the product isn't as good as the other leagues
