For a fifth round pick, you risk it on a young and tough QB. It's a no lose situation. He younger and could be great in a new system.
don't want any part of him- You know what??? I changed my mind. i think just what this team needs is another QB coming off a big injury.
I don't disagree with that, but I do disagree with Ramsey > Culpepper. Culpepper is the better QB, Ramsey is the better option for the Jets.
When I said Ramsey>Culpepper I didn't mean relating to the better QB. I was relating as to what is better for us. Based on what we can afford, how much we would be giving up, youth, and future potential.
I have kind of mixed feelings on Culpepper. I don't think he is as good of a QB as he was with Moss but I still think he can be good. As far as the injury goes I'm not worried about that at all. It's a knee injury not a shoulder injury and Daunte has been pretty durable the rest of his career. I would rather they draft a QB or go after Brees but if it's Culpepper or Ramsey I'll take Culpepper anyday.
Maybe they're just trying to make the Skins nervous, so they can get Ramsey for less than a 5th rounder. Who knows. Culpepper isn't such a bad backup.
It just don't make sense to me to have Culpepper and Pennington right now. I would rather see the team go after a young QB. JMHO
