you nailed that one. The man is an idiot for saying Kellen has no arm to go outside. Yet we all knew he meant PENNINGTON.
of course Kellen missed several games due to a broken leg. Just thought I'd say the truth. Please Mr. Stat man,. tellus how many INTS RYAN threw in his college career. Thank you! Then tell us how he fared in the big games.
I totally disagree with them after just watching this segment of the show. I don't think the Jets are DYING for Ryan to fall to them...and just because we sent them a playbook does not mean we are in love with the guy. Gholston in Rd 1 and Stewart in Rd 2 = Me very happy
Being the best NFL QB prospect in a weak NFL QB draft class does not mean we should take him. Just ask SF with Alex Smith. And looking the part (this is in response to someone else's post) means squat. See Carr and Harrington. And I notice someone called a QB who had almost as many INTs as TDs a "smart" QB.
With respect to Mayock, keep this disclosure in mind, from The Sporting News: With Ryan, I always offer the caveat that I know him and his family personally. His uncle, John Lougherty, and I were teammates and roommates at Boston College. We're both Philadelphia-area guys. Ryan played high school football in the same league that we played in and my father coached in, and I even watched him play basketball in high school. That says it all.
GLad I'm not the only one remembering that. Fenwyr ,If you goona post stats try to tell as much of the story as possible, not as little as you can to twist things to your side.
I'm no stat guy, I just go to ESPN. I did make a weak effort to understand Kellen's weak junior and senior year, but didn't find the broken leg. My apologies. 4507 yards, passer rating 127. That's mind blowing IMHO. And who said Brady had a stronger arm than Manning? Really?
